Green Meadows has partnered with Child Evangelism Fellowship to start a Good News Club at Pinebrook Elementary School.  What is a Good News Club?  It is an action-packed time that includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on that week's lesson.  As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of after-school Good News Clubs is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. To accomplish this goal, each club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust Jesus as Savior. Each club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.

Green Meadows also helps out with physical needs locally.   As a church, we participated in Operation Inasmuch in April of '08.  We were one of many churches in all 100 counties of North Carolina that participated.  Our desire to help locally did not begin there and it has not stopped there.  We still have men and women that are reaching out to those in need.  Our Men's Fellowship group has held work days to meet needs of members and non-members alike.  Our WMU (Women's group) helps by collecting food for A Storehouse for Jesus in Mocksville.  There are also a group of youth that go to A Storehouse for Jesus the first Wednesday of every month to volunteer and help.
